While working, I completed my master’s degree in International Management until February 2022. I am now working as a Sustainability Manager. Since I enjoy taking on professional challenges, I greatly appreciate that Werhahn has given me the opportunity to engage in this new area of responsibility. From the beginning, I have received exceptional support from the company, my supervisors, and colleagues. Regular feedback discussions and the effort to promote young talents in their professional development have always been of great importance. Due to our diversified structure in the corporate areas of consumer goods, building materials, and financial services, the corporate structure at Werhahn is very complex but offers extremely exciting insights into different industries and working methods. At Werhahn, diversification also shapes my work and has kept it varied since I joined in early 2020: There are few companies that spread their activities so broadly between the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors \u2013 but at the same time, they are successful in all fields in the long term, thus providing a counterexample to the “pure doctrine” of focus.
