Creating prospects for life<\/h2>\n<\/div>

The Werhahn Foundation is an initiative of the shareholders of Wilh. Werhahn KG. Its goals are derived from the close connection between family and company. It primarily initiates and supports projects and initiatives at Werhahn Group locations that promote disadvantaged children, adolescents, and young adults or are dedicated to the development and growth of young people. Personal engagement within the framework of the foundation by both Werhahn shareholders and employees is explicitly welcomed.<\/p>\n<\/div>

ZWILLING Foundation India<\/h2>\n<\/div>

Launched in 2011 in cooperation with the Werhahn Foundation, the ZWILLING Foundation India focuses on the education and training of disadvantaged children and young people and is committed to improving the precarious living conditions of employees and people with disabilities in the long term. From training centers to livelihood programs and sponsorships to medical care, the ZWILLING Foundation India has continuously expanded its commitment in collaboration with the Werhahn Foundation, true to the principle that “compassion, empathy, and love can change lives.”<\/p>\n<\/div>

SOCIAL DAY<\/h6>\n

Social Day 2025<\/h2>\n<\/div>
<\/div><\/div><\/div>

It was the sixth and certainly the most spectacular Social Day that Werhahn KG conducted at Raphaelshaus in Dormagen. On August 27, 19 colleagues and board members came together to tackle this year’s tasks. And they were quite challenging. The main project was the demolition of a massive brick stable. Axes, crowbars, pneumatic and sledgehammers, excavators \u2013 heavy equipment was brought in. Roofing felt flew, walls fell, and debris was carted away wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow. The team gave it their all, and by the end of the day, not a single stone was left unturned. Another team dedicated themselves to the large horse stable next door. Meter by meter, the rolling scaffold was moved forward until the stable was cleaned, primed, and freshly painted in pristine white.<\/p>\n

Sweaty, dusty, splattered with paint, and united in the good feeling of having accomplished a lot together and having done helpful work for Raphaelshaus, this Social Day came to an end. However, the communal experience will continue to have an impact beyond the day itself.<\/p>\n

As in previous years, Werhahn supported the institution not only with muscle power but also with a monetary donation. In the center for child and youth welfare, around 200 educational professionals care for over 250 children and adolescents in 23 groups. They all come from extremely difficult family backgrounds and are cared for on an outpatient, semi-residential, or residential basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>
